Duties and Responsibilities

Provide service to contractors, professional builders and walk-in customers
Unload and load flatbed trailers and vans
Verify counts and identify products to be stocked
Tag and stock materials in warehouse
Clean and organize products in warehouse
Pulling orders
Handle bulk materials, including lumber, as well as “piece pulls.”
Stage and/or load orders for delivery
Drive forklift, including frequent dismounting and re-entering forklift throughout the day
Adhere to Company forklift and delivery vehicle preventative maintenance standards and advise management of mechanical and maintenance problems with equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are performed
Attend and participate in all Company sponsored meeting and training programs as required
Perform any other related duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Willing to work year round in outside weather conditions
Self-Starter, able to work without constant direct supervision
Ability to lift 50+lbs
High attention to detail
Positive, proactive and energetic attitude-demonstrated team player characteristics as verified by references
Reliable and trustworthy
Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods preferred
Familiarity with lumber, building materials and millwork preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Good organizational and time management skills
Good basic math skills
English verbal and written communication skills are required
