Home Builders Association of Dayton Welcomes New Executive Officer


The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Dayton announced that Eric Farrell has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer as well as the addition of Jenna Robbins (Marketing and Membership Coordinator) to the leadership team.

Since 1942, the HBA of Dayton has served the home building industry and are committed to working collaboratively with constituents to resolve issues, ethical business practices and keep housing affordable. The Dayton HBA promotes the highest standards of construction benefitting members, home owners & communities.

Eric is a Dayton native who resides in Centerville/Washington Township with his wife and kids. For the previous eleven years, Eric has served in a variety of capacities within the University of Dayton Athletic Department - in such capacities as the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Executive Director of the First Four® Local Organizing Committee, and Assistant Director of Basketball Operations. In each role, the commonality was his ability to collaboratively bring a group of individuals and ideas together for a shared goal, while cultivating long-term relationships across all sectors of the ecosystem that Farrell can draw upon for the success of the HBA with a wide-ranging background.

As CEO Eric will oversee the day-to-day operations of the HBA of Dayton as well as directing and managing the association’s nearly 300 members across the Dayton Region. Additionally, Eric will be heavily focused on matters related to membership, professional development, and education/training.

“I am honored to have been named the CEO for the Home Builders Association of Dayton.” said Farrell. “The continued success of our organization will be a purposeful approach - collaborating with industry professionals, being a resource for consumers, and advocating the residential construction industry.”

Jenna Robbins is a Dayton native and recently returned to Ohio after traveling around the United States and Germany with her husband while he was enlisted with the United States Army. She earned her Bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Maryland, and has extensive knowledge of the home building industry.

As the Marketing and Membership Coordinator, Jenna will work alongside Eric to help build membership. “There is a lot of value to being a member of this association, one of them being the networking that it allows. Our members are the reason that the HBA has been such a strong organization in the Dayton region for the last 77 years,” said Robbins.

The HBA is the driving force behind the home building industry in Dayton. Our members reach higher, work together, and achieve more collectively than they ever could alone. They are leaders, learners, innovators, and facilitators behind the stabilization and growth of our local building industries.

The HBA of Dayton is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the promotion, advancement, and professionalism of the building and associated industries and acts as an advocate for the residential housing and remodeling industry in the Dayton area.
