The week-long Bringing Housing Home legislative grassroots event kicked off today for the National Association of Home Builders federation, and several Home Builders Association of Dayton (HBA) members were honored to take part and showcase the impact of housing on our home district.
On Saturday, April 28, six current HBA board members and past presidents for the association attended brunch with Congressman Mike Turner, United States Representative for Ohio's 10th congressional district, and other Dayton-area business leaders and notable community leaders. They had an opportunity to speak with Congressman Turner about legislative matters impacting residential construction, ask questions about issues facing Ohio and the United States, and listen as Congressman Turner spoke about his vision and solutions for our region and nation.
Josh Dungan of JM Dungan Custom Homes, LLC, the HBA’s 2018 President; Dona Niswonger of Union Savings Bank, HBA Vice President; Robi Simms of Simms Development, HBA Secretary; Erika Deady of Oberer Homes, HBA At-Large Builder Director; Charlie Simms of Charles Simms Development, HBA and Ohio Home Builders Association (OHBA) Past President; and Jim Zengel of Zengel Group, HBA and Ohio Home Builders Association Past President were proud to represent the HBA of Dayton.
